Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley is one of six people to be awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Howard University during its 155th Commencement Convocation, to be held next Saturday.
The university says recipients are typically chosen for their significant contributions to improving the world by demonstrating an unwavering commitment to building a better society for all.
Honorary recipients this year also include James E. Clyburn, United States representative for South Carolina; Karsh Family Foundation co-founders Martha L. and Bruce A. Karsh; Duke University Health System president and CEO A. Eugene Washington, M.D., MPH, MSc; and Trustee Emerita and former Board vice chair Benaree Pratt Wiley.
