Residents in the Point Fortin area are advised by the Water and Sewerage Authority that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Monday 12th December between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate electrical maintenance works at the Pt. Fortin Desalination Plant, together with emergency repairs to two leaking transmission pipelines along the Southern Main Road, Pt. Fortin in the vicinity of Damus Mufflers.

Areas to be affected include Point Fortin, Vance River, Cochrane, South Central Road, New Village and Cap-de-Ville.

WASA advises that once repairs are completed, it may take an additional 24 hours for supply to normalize.
