A startling discovery came on Friday morning as police identified the remains of a human and an animal down a precipice off the road at the Heights of Aripo, a short distance from where kidnap and murder victim Andrea Bharatt was found one day ago. 

A statement from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service stated that as a result of information received, Homicide Bureau officers went to the scene where they found the remains in a state of decomposition.

On checking further, investigators determined that the remains were those of a human and an animal.

Crime Scene personnel are on the scene at this point in time.
