Twenty-two people were arrested and six excavators were seized by officers of the Illegal Quarrying Unit, during an Operation Strike Back II exercise conducted in the Northern Division on Tuesday and yesterday. 

The operations, which took place at three illegal quarrying sites at Manuel Congo, Arima, were a collaborative effort between police and the Commissioner of State Lands and the Office of the Director of Minerals.
