The TTPS has held two suspects and seized a quantity of marijuana.

According to the TTPS, officers of the Northern Division Gang Unit, during an intelligence-led exercise conducted in the La Horquetta district yesterday.

The exercise was conducted between 5 pm and 8 pm, on Monday 17th July 2023, during which officers of the NDGU and ND Task Force, Areas North and South, conducted extensive surveillance on a house at Phase 1, La Horquetta.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at the location which resulted in a quantity of marijuana being found. A marijuana grow house was dismantled and other equipment was also found and seized.

Two male suspects, ages 42 and 21, both of La Horquetta, were arrested in connection with the finds.

Investigation are ongoing into the above matter.
