Pychius Regis had a bulletproof vest when the police entered his home at Windy Hill Arouca, but it served no purpose. The 25-year-old man is now dead after police say he shot at them at his home at 130AM on Tuesday. Members of the Northern Division Task Force Central went to the home with a search warrant for guns and ammunition and said no one answered their calls. But Regis , the police say, shot at them from inside his bedroom. When police returned fire he  was shot several times and he died while being tread at the Arima Hospital. The bulletproof vest and  a Glock pistol with 16 rounds of ammunition was found at the house.
