Officers of the TTPS have seized a firearm and a quantity of camouflage clothing during an Operation Blue Line exercise conducted in the North Central Division yesterday.

According to the TTPS, during the exercise, Task Force officers proceeded to Farm Road Extension around 8 pm, on Sunday 30th July 2023, where they conducted a search of a bushy area.

The search resulted in the officers finding one revolver, one holster, two camouflage jackets and a pair of camouflage pants. Investigations are ongoing into the finds. Several checks were conducted in the Champ Fleurs, St. Joseph, St. Augustine, Curepe and El Dorado districts.

The exercise was spearheaded by ACP Subero, Snr. Supt. Ramphall and Supt. Nowbutt.
