Police trying to identify severed head found in Maloney near highway

According to reports, police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are in the process of trying to identify a man whose severed head was found earlier this morning, November 14.

The gruesome discovery was made near the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway as Maloney police confirmed that they received a report of a man’s head being found in a drain parallel to the highway.

According to the T&T Newsday, the man appeared to be of mixed descent with a neat haircut and beard. Northern Division crime scene investigators visited the scene and the man’s head was eventually removed by funeral home workers and taken to the Forensic Science Centre for swabbing.
