Potential Tropical Cyclone #6 Moves Over Guadeloupe

Potential Tropical Cyclone Six was located at approximately 110km southwest of Guadeloupe this morning and is moving away from the Lesser Antilles, according to the latest update from the Met Office on Tuesday morning.

The system is forecast to pass near or over the U.S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico later today and tonight.

At this time, there remains no direct threat to Trinidad and Tobago, however a Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert remains in effect for both islands until 6pm today.

Street and flash flooding may occur in some areas where  heavy showers are likely.
