Preparations On Track For July 1st SEA Exam, Education Ministry Assures

All school facilities will be ready in time for the July 1st SEA examination. Education Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly says outstanding works should be completed by next Monday, June 28th.

SEA students who are due to sit their exam next Thursday, July 1st, will have to do so wearing face masks for the entire duration .

A 6ft distance between each student will also be enforced. Exam results will be released by the first week in September, according to Minister  Gadsby-Dolly.

Snacks will also be provided to the children, with distribution to follow strict Covid guidelines. 

The Education Ministry has sourced 3,919 supervisory staff, which includes Principals, Assessment Supervisors, Assistant Assessment Supervisors and Testers.

All students will undergo screening before the exam day and a quarantine/isolation area has also been designated at each school.
