Joint police and prison forces are still searching for prisoner Anthony Seepersad, who remains at large after breaking out of the Golden Grove Prison in Arouca.

Four other inmates- Kurien Douglas, Shaquille Drayton, Kevin Jagdeo and Theon Thomas- who also escaped on Sunday night have been recaptured.

They each face an additional charge of escaping lawful custody.

The Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service advises that two additional escapees have been recaptured by the joint Police and Prison Forces, leaving one at large.

Kurien Douglas aka Akiem Douglas , Garza and Shaquille Drayton aka Jabari Williams were recaptured on Monday March 21, 2022 at around 7:45pm and 8:20pm respectively in the Dinsley/ Tacarigua area.

They were both conveyed to the Arouca Police Station and are now facing an additional charge each of ‘Escaping Lawful Custody’.

Anthony Seepersad remains at large and is still considered armed and dangerous.

Commissioner of Prisons (Ag.) Mr. Deopersad Ramoutar has once again applauded the determined efforts of the Joint Services as they seek to recapture the fifth escapee.

He has also reiterated to the members of the public that if seen, to contact the nearest Police Station, or Prison Authorities at 623-7070 or 800-PRSN (7776).
