Protests in Guyana over general elections results

Bath Settlement Public Road, West Berbice and Lusignan on the East Coast Demerara have launched protests in Guyana against what protesters are describing as the rigging of Monday’s general election. 

According to reports the protesters at Bath blocked the road with burning tyres. They were also heard chanting: “Granger must go”. Riot police had to step in to remove the items blocking the road.
