After acting in the post for more than a year, Dennis Pulchan has officially been promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Prisons.

He was handed his Instrument of Appointment in a brief ceremony at the Service Commissions Department.

His appointment was announced in a statement from the Trinidad and Tobago Prisons Service on Wednesday. 

The newly confirmed Commissioner has stated that he is honored and humbled to be confirmed in the esteemed position and will continue to serve the citizenry and uphold the mandate of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service.
