The Water and Sewerage Authority has advised customers in parts of North, Central
and South Trinidad, served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant that production has been
reduced.

The reduction means that there may be a reduced supply to some customers until 3:00 p.m on Saturday 29th October 2022. WASA further stated that the reduction has become necessary due to flooded river conditions and clogged screens currently being experienced at the raw water intake of the facility due to the weather conditions as per the ITCZ.
