Point Fortin East Secondary School has been shut down until further notice prompting students and their parents to stage a protest outside the constituency office of MP, Edmund Dillon on Tuesday morning as they used placards to highlight the many problems at the school.

Parents say the school has been shut down creating fear among the higher form students who are preparing for the CSEC and the CAPE exams in May.  Students need to complete their School-Based Assessment (SBA) projects and lab reports.
