Second Autopsy For Andrea

By Newsroom

A second autopsy on the body of Andrea Bharatt will take place today, after Monday’s test at the Forensic Science Centre came back inconclusive.

Reports indicate it is being done by pathologist Prof Hubert Daisley at Boodoo’s Funeral home in Cunupia.

Monday’s inconclusive report was due to the advanced decomposition of Bharatt’s body.

The 22 year old court clerk was found down a precipice off the Heights of Aripo last Thursday, nearly one week after she was kidnapped.

Investigator’s believe the woman’s murderers disposed of her body shortly after she was taken.

Tuesday’s autopsy follows another night of nationwide vigils and peaceful demonstrations, as fed-up citizens call for justice for Bharatt and every other woman who has lost their lives to violence.
