A non-profit volunteer-based organisation is providing assistance to the relief effort in several flood-affected areas. The NGO which is named Sewa TT is currently coordinating with the Disaster Management Units (DMUs) of the Regional Corporations and the ODPM to identify areas and individuals in need of assistance.

According to Sewa TT, “For now, the volunteers are providing ready-to-eat meals which would be distributed to those affected. A long-standing partner of Sewa TT’s Blood Drives; Subway, have come together to provide vegetarian 6″ Veggie Delite at a cost of $15.00 each available at 17 of Subway’s branches. This meal drive at Subway is effective from today, October 5 Wednesday until Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 only.”
