Shiva Boys have claimed this year’s PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League (SSCL) premiership division trophy. They beat Hillview College in the seventh and final round of matches which was played at the PowerGen Grounds in Penal, earlier today (March 10th).

They were helped largely by magnificent bowling figures from left-arm orthodox spinner Isaiah Gomez who claimed seven wickets for just 20 runs. The team’s captain Nicholas Ali, chipped in with a knock of 51 runs. Shiva Boys won the game by 82-runs.
