Six Arrested During Ongoing Anti-Crime Exercises

The TTPS arrested six people and seized quantities of marijuana during ongoing anti-crime exercises conducted in the Western and Southern Divisions yesterday April 10.

According to the TTPS: Officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force conducted an exercise in the Diego Martin district between 10 am and 1 pm, on Monday 10th April, 2023, during which they stopped and searched a white Nissan B-15 motor vehicle.

The search resulted in officers finding a quantity of marijuana. Two male suspects, ages 24 and 25, both of Factory Road, Diego Martin were arrested in connection with the find.

Meanwhile, in the Southern Division, Task Force officers conducted an exercise between 2 pm and 7 pm, yesterday, during which they arrested four suspects as follows:

A 60-year-old of San Fernando for possession of cocaine,
A 31-year-old of Princes Town for possession of marijuana,
A 34-year-old of Fyzabad for possession of marijuana and
A 27-year-old of Gasparillo on Robbery Enquiries.

Investigations are ongoing into all of the above matters.
