Six Arrested In Two Separate Drugs And Firearm Finds

Three men, ages 18 to 25, were arrested in St. James on Saturday, in connection to a drugs and ammunition find. Officers were on patrol at  Belle Vue Road shortly after noon, where they  executed a search warrant at a house at Community Lane. There, they found and seized a Glock 19 pistol fitted with an extended magazine and 12 rounds of ammunition, another extended magazine containing seven rounds of ammunition and 1.2 grams of cocaine.

Acting on additional information, the officers then proceeded to a track located off Dibe Road, St James, where they found and seized a Hi-Point pistol. No one was arrested in that instance.

Meanwhile, one revolver and a quantity of ammunition were seized in Arouca on Saturday, leading to the arrest of three persons. North Eastern Division Task Force officers executed a warrant at a house at Jitman Drive, Arouca, where they discovered a Rossi .38 special revolver with five rounds of .38 ammunition and four rounds of 9mm ammunition.
