Six Charged Over Tobago Double Murder

Five men and one woman have been charged with the July 21st murders of Kenny Wolfe and James Fergusson.

A seventh man was charged for possession of a stolen vehicle, a firearm, and ammunition.

All seven who ranged in ages 21 years to 34 years, were charged on Friday, 31st July, 2020, following advice received from the Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC. They are:

-JASON CAESAR aka “Poi” for two counts of murder and Possession of firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

-ANDERSON BELGRAVE aka “Skull” for two counts of murder  TRESTON RENO aka “Yankee” for two counts of murder, possession of firearm and possession of ammunition

– DENZIL TURPIN for two counts of murder.

– NICHOLAS COWAN aka “Bulls” for two counts of murder.

– GILISA BONAS for two counts of murder and possession of marijuana.

-KERVIS TAYLOR aka “Shotter” was charged for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of firearm and possession of ammunition.

The victims – 35-year-old Mr. Wolfe, an electrician, who lived in Golden Lane, and 23- year old Mr. Fergusson, unemployed who lived at Bacolet, were driving in a vehicle along St Cecelia Road, Tobago, when another vehicle, driving in the opposite direction and bearing false number plate collided with their vehicle. Two men exited the vehicle and fired shots at Wolfe and Fergusson following which they escaped in an AQUA vehicle.

The police were contacted and upon their arrival they found Wolfe and Fergusson down a precipice off St Cecelia Road, Concordia, Tobago. They were already dead.

The seven accused appeared before Magistrate Joanne Connor at the Scarborough Magistrates’ Virtual First Court on Monday and the matters were postponed to 1st September 2020.
