Six Teens Arrested Following Point Fortin Robbery

Six teenagers, aged 14 to 18, have been arrested by Point Fortin Officers in connection with a break-in in the area last Friday.

According to police reports, the operator at Noel Mini Mart located at Warden Road, New Village, Point Fortin, locked and secured her shop around 6:30pm.

However the woman told police when she returned around 2:03 am on Saturday, she found that the place had been broken into.

Checks revealed several items including a number of snacks and cigarettes to be missing.

An investigation was launched in the district, leading to the arrest of six male teens, three aged 14, two aged 17 and one aged 18, all of the Point Fortin district.
