SSTF Regional Championships Get Going on January 24

The SSTF Trinbago Schools’ Relays has concluded with Bishop Anstey High School and Queen’s Royal College emerging as the top schools.

According to a release from the SSTF:

These athletes will be competing in the Gibson McCook relays in Jamaica. Attention will again be focused on the Hasely Crawford Stadium, the venue for the start of the SSTF Regional Championships.

The Richards, Cedenio, Borel South/ Central Regionals begin on 24 January and continue on 25 January 2024. Next will be the three-day Walcott, Lendore, Ahye North Regionals on 30, 31 January and 01 February 2024. The Stewart, Quow, Baptiste Tobago Regionals occur on 07 and 08 February 2024. Regionals begin at about 9:30am.

The grand finale is the National Championships, where the best athletes from all Regions will compete to be crowned National Champions. This spectacle takes place on 20 and 21 February 2024 and is not to be missed!

Members of the public are invited to spectate at these events where the best talent in Trinidad and Tobago Secondary School Track and Field will be on display.
