There are several reports of flooding in some areas in both the northern and southern parts of the country. Some footage shows floods in the St. James area while according to the T&T Weather centre, over the last five hours, showers and thunderstorms have affected parts of SE and western coastal Trinidad, producing heavy rainfall and frequent lightning.

They have also reported street/flash flooding in the Penal/Debe/Barrackpore areas.

The site has also advised that additional shower/thunderstorm activity will persist, predominately across southern and western areas of Trinidad through the afternoon. Increasingly stable conditions are forecast from tonight through the next 1-2 days.
