Suspect Held In Connection With Toddler’s Murder

By Newsroom

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service has confirmed that one suspect is in custody in connection with the double murder of two year old baby Aniah McCloud and her father, 39-year-old Stephon McLoud last Friday.

The news comes on the same day the father and daughter pair was laid to rest and one day after Police Commissioner Gary Griffith announced a $25,000 reward for anyone who could lead law enforcement to credible information on the child’s killers.

It is not yet known whether the arrest came as a result of a Crimestoppers tip.

The toddler and her father were shot and killed at Achong Trace, Tunapuna on June 19.
