Social media reports which indicated two new COVID-19 cases were recorded at the San Fernando Teaching Hospital are completely false, according to the South West Regional Health Authority.

The SWRHA, in a statement, reinforced that only official government sources should be accessed for verified information on COVID-19. 

According to the Ministry of Health’s latest update, the number of confirmed cases remains at 117, zero of which are active.

Patients and clients are asked to contact the Authority’s Customer Service Centre at 87-SWRHA (877-9742), for any matter in relations to healthcare.
