The election fever is heating up in Tobago, as the People’s National Movement announces it has opened its nomination process.

The screening for potential candidates will run until September 30th.

On Wednesday, the Progressive Democratic Patriots also opened their screening process.

While a date for the Tobago House of Assembly election is yet to be announced, it’s likely it could be before year’s end, and will solve the 6-6 deadlock from the January 25th election.
