Jesse Daniel, a 27-year-old man, of Crown Trace Enterprise, will appear before the Chaguanas Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday 17th June,to answer to the charge of manslaughter.

The charge was laid by Detective Corporal Phillip following consultations held with the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Ms Joan Honore-Paul in relation to the murder of 28-year-old Vicky Baldeo, of Crown Trace Enterprise, who died Friday February 28, from wounds sustained on February 25.

The victim was struck down by an oncoming vehicle in his attempt to escape being further beaten three men.

The accused, Jesse Daniel, subsequently surrendered to police at the Chaguanas Police Station last Wednesday, after months of evading arrest by the Homicide detectives.

The two other suspects, Akiel Smith and Warren John were previously arrested and charged with manslaughter.
