Three persons aged 20, 24, and 32, have been detained by police for questioning, after a video went viral showing one of the men hanging his dog from a tree.

Police Commissioner, Gary Griffith, ordered the investigation after he saw the video. The CoP also said that he received numerous messages and calls about the video.

Snr. Supt. Wayne Mohammed, Head of the Southern Division, directed the operation where three persons ages  from Embacadere, San Fernando, were detained today for questioning with respect to an allegation of cruelty to an animal.

Snr. Supt. Mohammed confirmed that an investigation is underway.
