The TTPS have arrested three men and seized a quantity of marijuana along the Uriah Butler Highway yesterday, February 10. 

According to reports, officers were performing traffic duties around 9 pm, last night, along the north-bound lane of the UBH near the Caroni overpass during road paving exercises, when they observed a white Toyota Corolla motor vehicle with three male occupants experiencing mechanical problems.

The officers made checks of the vehicle which resulted in the discovery of five packages wrapped in plastic. The packages were found to discover a quantity of marijuana. The three suspects, ages 22 to 25, of San Fernando and Couva were arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing into the matter.
