Police have arrested a 29-year-old Venezuelan woman and her 54-year-old common law
husband earlier this morning, September 10, following the seizure of a firearm, two magazines, along with ammunition at their Tobago home.

According to the TTPS: “At 12.15 am, police officers attached to the Scarborough Police Station, Divisional Task Force and Canine Branch, executed a search warrant at a house located in Signal Hill during which they allegedly found and seized one Glock 43 nine millimetre pistol, two Glock magazines and eight rounds of nine millimetre ammunition.

The couple were immediately detained in connection with the seizure and are assisting detectives with ongoing investigations.WPC Ewing is continuing enquiries.”
