THA Education Secretary Zorisha Hackett and THA employee Kevon McKenna have been charged by the White-Collar Unit of the TTPS, for failing to obey a court order to disclose information relating to a widely shared audio clip.
The charges were confirmed by Deputy Commissioner of Police Curt Simon, during a media conference on Thursday.
Audiogate saga began in May when a voicenote featuring Chief Secretary Farley Augustine was leaked, detailing an alleged plot by THA officials to use public funds for political propaganda.
Secretary Hackett has been granted a stay in the matter, which will now go before the Tobago Magistrates’ Court.
