Tobago Records Zero New COVID-19 Cases For A Fifth Day

Tobago is reporting zero new coronavirus cases for a fifth consecutive day. As it stands, the island has 12 active cases of the virus.

Meanwhile, in the Health and Wellness Division of the Tobago House of Assembly’s COVID-19 update on Wednesday, it revealed that four prison officers who were transported to Trinidad from Tobago after testing positive for COVID-19 last month, were discharged from the health facility today, having recovered from the virus.

The current clinical update for Tobago as at Tuesday 4 th November, 2020:
-Number of persons discharged = 4 

-Number of samples submitted to the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) and other local sites to test for COVID-19 = 1609

-Number of samples that tested positive for COVID-19 = 106

-Number of active COVID-19 cases = 12

-Number of deaths = 2
