Traffic Build Up In West Trinidad Due To Ruptured Pipeline

By Newsroom

The Ministry of Works and Transport advises there’s a temporary traffic disruption along the Western Main Road, Cocorite, in the vicinity of Peake’s Service Station due to a ruptured 16-inch diameter pipeline.

Other areas such as Wrightson Road and Beetham Highway will also be affected by this disruption.

WASA’s repair works are scheduled to be completed by 5:00 p.m. today.

WASA says there are  high voltage underground lines in the vicinity of the ruptured pipeline, which slowed progress on the works.
