Tru Valu has introduced a WhatsApp service in the hope that it will limit the time customers spend in stores. According to the company members of the public can now send their grocery list via WhatsApp and staff will shop on their behalf. The items can then be collected at the preferred store location.

The service is available between 8 am to 4 pm for orders over $200. Orders received outside these times will be processed the following day.
The steps listed are:

– Write your list in bullet points with your Full Name and contact number or numbers

– Include quantities (units for grocery items and lbs for perishables), brand names and sizes

– The Tru Valu team will source and collect the items

– Standby for the designated collection time

– On arrival, one will be guided to check out
