T&TEC’s Power Generation Efforts Compounded By Adverse Weather

By Newsroom

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, T&TEC, says work to resolve power generation issues across several parts of the country is continuing, having been compounded by the adverse weather which occurred over last night into this morning.

Large-area outages currently exist on the North Coast, from Maracas to Blanchisseuse, Rampanalgas and Mathura. However, the Commission says supply has been restored in several areas, including Manzanilla, some parts of Sangre Grande, Santa Cruz, Malabar, Crown Point and parts of Mason Hall in Tobago.
