TTPS loses 20th officer to Covid-19

Yet another police officer has lost his life to the Covid-19 virus. No.10186 Cpl Ian Regis died yesterday, December 15 at the St James Medical Hospital. He was 61-years-old and had 28 years of service. Cpl Regis was last attached to Court and Process Branch, Port-of-Spain Division.

The Executive and officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service have extended condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. He is survived by his wife and son.

Supt. (Ag), Alva Gordon, of the Court and Process Branch, described Cpl Regis as a very hard worker who was always willing to assist his colleagues both on and off the job.

The TTPS has lost 20 officers to the virus so far.
