Two men were killed by police in the Longdenville area this afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Kevin Edwards and Sterling Raymond.

The men are alleged to have deliberately crashed into a police vehicle, before opening fire on the officers.

Firearms were said to be recovered from the scene.
