A 24-year-old man is now warded in serious condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex after being shot in Maloney Gardens on Tuesday morning. 

Shaquille Charles of Building 5 Maloney Gardens, was shot six times about the body at around 3 am

, and police say there was another shooting that took place shortly after in the vicinity of Building 17 which claimed the life of another man.

Police said the deceased lived in Port of Spain but his identity was yet to be confirmed with relatives and as a result would not yet be publicly released.
