Trinidad and Tobago Under 20 Women Warriors have advanced to the  Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Championships after defeating the Cayman Islands 2-0 in a Group F game played on Tuesday.

 The Warriors now have six points . having bene held own for most of the game,  Maria- Frances Serrant scored in the 78th minute to give T&T the lead.

 Five minutes into stoppage time captain Afiyah Cornwall sealed the deal. It was her fifth goal of the  tournament,

The Cayman Islands were coached by Stephan De Four who up to late last year was the Head Coach of the T&T Women’s senior team.

 T&T is coached by Richard Hood while former Women’s Senior Captain, Maylee Attin Johnson is the manager.

 Tomorrow the Warriors will be in action against Haiti in the final Group F game.
