The tie in the electoral district of Arima Northeast is broken. The UNC’s candidate Jairzinho Domingo Gustav Rigsby won by one (1) vote.

A statement from the EBC on Thursday said at the close of the poll on Monday, both the PNM and UNC candidates each received 623 votes. The PEP candidate received 81 votes.
