Nineteen-year-old Kadeem Elijah , who was on bail on a gun charge, was shot dead in his bedroom where his 33-year-old common-law wife  Cindy Joseph was also killed shortly after one o’clock on Thursday morning.

Cindy’s eleven-year-old son, who witnessed the murders, suffered a gunshot injury in his leg in the attack on their humble home at Springvale, Claxton Bay.

They were ambushed and shot by three men.
