WATCH: Another Heated Day In The Capital City As Citizens Protest Police Killings

By Newsroom

At least two or three men are reported to have been wounded by police bullets today, as an army of officers responded to protests across the capital city.

The demonstrations are a second day of public outcry over the police killing of three men over the weekend.

Joel Jacob, Noel Diamond and Israel Clinton were killed near Juman Drive, Morvant on Saturday, as officers surrounded the vehicle they were in.

Political leader of the New National Vision Party, Fuad Abu Bakr, were among those arrested for “attempting to incite violence”.

Meanwhile, the Movement for Social Justice is one of the voices calling for the police officers who were involved in Saturday’s incident to be immediately arrested and suspended. It calls on Police Commissioner Gary Griffith to release the body camera footage from the officers.
