Water disruption in East and South Trinidad tomorrow

There will be a water service delivery interruption on Thursday 30th January, 2020 between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 5:00 pm. in parts of South East Trinidad served by the Navet Water Treatment Plant. The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said that the interruption was necessary because of maintenance work at the plant.

Areas to be affected include:

Cunapo Southern Main, Navet, Cushe, Charuma, Biche, Plum Mitan, Rio Claro, San Pedro, Tabquite, Navet, Tableland, Fonrose Village, Poole, Libertville, Clearwater, Deep Ravine, Agostini, New Grant, Hardbargain, St. Julien, Indian Walk, St. Mary’s Village, Cunjal, Cumuto, Whiteland, Poonah, Piparo, Morne Roche, Princes Town, Manahambre, Iere Village, Buen Intento, Malgretoute, Williamsville, Barrackpore, Monkey Town, Bronte, Borde Narve, Rochard Road, Upper Rock Road, Lower Rock Road, Parts of Clarke Road.

Also, customers in parts of East Trinidad served by the Caura Water Treatment Plant are also advised that there would be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday 30th January, 2020 between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate emergency leak repairs to 12 inch diameter pipeline along Karamath Street, El Dorado, Tunapuna.

Areas to be affected include:

El Dorado and environs including: Madoo Hill, El Dorado Heights, College Road, Caura Hospital, Karamath Street, Govia Road, Paradise Gardens, Ridge View Heights, Vista Heights, Balgobin street, Crown Street, Eastern Main Road from Richard street to Dickson Street.

Customers are also advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
