Water disruption in South West Trinidad

Customers from South West Trinidad served by the Granville Water Treatment Plant, are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe borne water supply because of  mechanical problems at the facility.  The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said the problems developed today, Wednesday 12 th February, 2020.

Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday 13 th February, 2020. 

Areas to be affected include: 

Granville

Cedros

Fullerton

Bamboo

Icacoss

Columbia

Coromandel

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
