Customers in parts of North, Central and South Trinidad, served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant are currently experiencing a disruption in their pipe-borne water supply. The reduced service started at 2:00 p.m. today October 5 and is expected to last until 8:00 a.m on Thursday 6th October 2022.

According to the Water and Sewerage Authority, this is due to flooded river conditions and clogged screens currently being experienced at the raw water intake of the facility due to the passage of Invest #91L.
