There is a water disruption in the St. James area. According to the Water and Sewerage Authority, some customers are currently experiencing low water pressures or no water supply, because of a leaking 21” pipeline located on the compound of the Police Academy, Western Main Road, St. James, in the vicinity of Long Circular Road.

In a statement, the Authority also stated that emergency repairs currently underway have been slowed by the discovery of an underground T&TEC power line which has been de-energized and restorative works have resumed.

Affected areas include:

• St. James North, inclusive of Upper Bournes Road, Woodbine, Fort George,
Providence Estate
