Regular water service has resumed in the parts of North-West Trinidad which are served by the El Socorro Booster Station. The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said the mechanical repair works at the facility were completed ahead of schedule at approximately 10:30 a.m. today Sunday 2nd February, 2020.

They further stated that pipe borne water supply is being restored to affected areas but customers advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize in some affected areas, in keeping with regular pipe borne water supply schedules.
