The search for Vanna Girod came to sad end on Wednesday afternoon, as cops confirmed the woman’s body was found on a beach in Arnos Vale, Tobago. 

The discovery comes less than 24 hours after Girod was reported missing by relatives.

Originally from Valsayn, the 30 year old was last seen on Tuesday morning, leaving her family’s villa at Arnos Vale, where she had been visiting her aunt and uncle.

Her body was found floating in the ocean not far from the villa.

Girod was involved in the local theatre industry, known for her appearances in films including ‘Moko Jumbie’ and ‘Between Friends’, is missing. 

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
